Owen Martin Photography Exhibition at Oriel Bach
Artist's StatementI am interested in photographing various political, cultural and environmental issues. This work focuses on the sky, looking at pollution caused by street lights. I have tried to take photographs that do not obviously show pollution. I used a digital camera to photograph this project, I wanted to push the camera to its limits in order to use some of the effects caused by digital cameras such as digital noise without using image editing software. I am interested in using digital technology such as cameras and printers to create images that look different rather than trying to emulate film photography.
